User Interface Should Boldly Warn user to cast their ballot in IRV elections, using secret ballots

Description

When using the IRV election process with secret ballots, multiple users have reported either that their ballots were not registered in the final results or that they had to return to the application and recast their ballot. There is apparently a need for modifications in the user interface making it clear that a ballot has not been cast, until it is finally submitted.
